ACPP asks YPP to Withdraw Court Case Against PDP and Senator Demola Adeleke

ACPP ASKS YPP TO WITHDRAW COURT CASE AGAINST PDP AND SENATOR DEMOLA ADELEKE

The Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) under the leadership of Mr. Wole Adedoyin has restated her commitment and support for transparency, equity and justice in the forthcoming Osun Governorship election and also condemned a court case (click on this link to download the case)  https://bit.ly/37iWcXr  allegedly instituted by the governorship candidate of the Young Progressive Party, one Dr. Ademola Bayonle Adeseye against the candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Demola Adeleke.

Condemning the court case, which he described as spurious, Adedoyin asked those behind the court action to withdraw their case immediately “if they are within YPP and not agents of APC (All Progressives Congress).

Parts of the Statement read, “YPP is a good party with brilliant and intellectual democrats.  The party also has one of the best programmes in the country. Currently under the national leadership of Comrade Emmanuel Bishop Amakiri as National Chairman. The party is one of the registered political parties to watch out for in the 2023 General Elections. In its manifesto, the party called for concerted efforts to improve welfare, fight for social justice and provide equality of opportunities for all citizens in Nigeria. The Young Progressive Party won one seat out of the 109 seats in the Nigerian Senate during the 2019 general elections.”

“People like Dr. Ademola Bayonle Adeseye are the ones drawing the party backward. He is an agent of the All Progressive Congress (APC)."

"What concerns the Young Progressive Party (YPP) with the internal affairs of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and her candidate (Senator Demola Adeleke)."

"He is not sincere about his cause to liberate the good people of Osun State. Osun State Electorates should not take him and his party serious. While other governorship candidates are on the streets campaigning, Dr. Ademola Bayonle Adeseye is running errands for some Anti-PDP and Demola Adeleke elements.”

ACPP finally called on the National Leadership of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) to come out publicly to dissociate their party and candidate from and condemn the case.

Osun: APGA Picks Candidate, Ready to battle APC and PDP

OSUN: APGA PICKS CANDIDATE, READY TO BATTLE APC AND PDP

Gbadebo Adekunle has emerged the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) for the July 16, 2022 governorship election.

APGA’s Governorship Primary was conducted at the State Party Secretariat in Osogbo on Tuesday and was monitored by the two representatives of INEC from their National Headquarters.

Adekunle’s candidature was ratified in the presence of Osun INEC representatives and party delegates after emerging as the sole candidate of the party’s primary election.

The returning officer, while announcing the result, thanked all the delegates and observers for playing according to the rules towards ensuring the peaceful primary election.

After announcing him the winner of the primary election, Gbadebo Adekunle promised that APGA under the state, zonal and national leadership of Pastor Olatunji Popoola, Deacon Samson Segun Olalere and Victor Oye would spring surprise against the political permutation of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the July 16 governorship poll.

According to him, “APGA is a true party of the progressives with masses oriented manifesto and programmes. Anambra is a case study and a good example of masses oriented democracy and good governance. APGA has controlled Anambra State since 2006 and also for a few years controlled Imo. There are lots of developments, huge infrastructures and grassroots projects to show as evidence.”

“We will not abandon Osun State to pretenders and looters who coined themselves progressives but our government, if elected into power will ensure that every Osun Citizen enjoys the God-given resources of the state and be thankful for His blessings,” Gbadebo Adekunle told the party’s delegates.
