There is nothing like IPAC Interim Committee in Osun State, Gov. Oyetola should be careful dealing with them – Osun APPPS

THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IPAC INTERIM COMMITTEE IN OSUN STATE, GOV. OYETOLA SHOULD BE CAREFUL DEALING WITH THEM – OSUN APPPS

The Association of Progressive Political Parties (APPPS) in Osun State has debunked the rumour going round that some malicious and hunger-stricken individuals operating under Osun IPAC Interim Committee, which is alien to Osun INEC and IPAC Code of Conduct have taken over IPAC in Osun. 

This was contained in a press statement issued and signed by the Association’s Chairman and Secretary, Mr. Wole Adedoyin and Elder Adeloye Ogunmodede.

According to the Statement, “Pastor Olatunji Popoola remains the democratic and duly elected Chairman of Osun IPAC. He emerged Osun IPAC Chairman in an election where 72 registered political parties participated including the latest 18 political parties organized by the national representatives of IPAC National in persons of Isa B. Dansarki and Edime O. Joseph and INEC representative in person of HOD of Election and Party Monitoring, EPM Department Mrs. Folake Amal Agboola.”

Another Statement reads

“It is not new that some malicious individuals met in a beer parlour and not in INEC office amid Covid-19 pandemic and created a faction which they codenamed “Osun IPAC Interim Committee”

The Osun IPAC Interim Committee was set up by some fraudulent and hunger-stricken individuals whose vision is to loot and embezzle any fund gotten from Gov. Oyetola through their newly created initiative which is new and alien to IPAC Code of Conduct which is guiding the operations and activities of the Council.

Osun APPPS however, said the recent achievements of IPAC under Popoopla’s leadership had become a threat to some malicious individuals who are doing everything to tarnish his image and good work.

The body expressed optimism that IPAC under Pastor Olatunji  Popoola would put more efforts in her activities and would record more successes. APPPS advised Osun Political Stakeholders to disregard whatever fake allegations levied against him by some impostors going by the name of Osun IPAC Interim Committee.

APPPS finally urged Osun IPAC members to remain peaceful, loyal, dedicated and committed as these are the only ways Osun IPAC under the state leadership of Pastor Olatunji Popoola can thrive for greatness.’’
